The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
